How the facts are checked

No source, no line.

  1. Every line has a source

Each sentence in a reel is tied to a source, and the story's page lists them with the date they were checked.

  2. Old numbers stay dated

When the latest count of the world's courses is from the end of 2020, the narrator says so instead of calling it current.

  3. Legends get checked too

Old Tom Morris did not start the Sunday closure at St Andrews; church law did, centuries earlier. Where the research and the legend differ, the reel follows the research.
